Original Sin follows that first rebellion out of the courts of heaven and into the garden of Eden, and shows how one same lawlessness runs through them all — time, place, kind, and word, four bounds and four crossings.

Yet this is no record of ruin only. For what the first Adam lost, the second Adam came to restore; what was stolen is paid back with increase; and the high seats that a third of the host let fall are kept for the meek, who shall inherit the earth. Here is the whole account, from the first wrong done in the heavens of old to the healing of all things in Christ — the wound not only closed, but overpaid.
