Anger
Anger can damage the relationships we most want to protect. In Anger, Evangelist W.T. Elliott begins with Ephesians 4:26-27 and its call to deal with wrath without allowing it to become sin.
Through family memories and biblical examples, he examines misplaced anger, blame, jealousy, and resentment. The accounts of Sarah and Hagar, Cain and Abel, and Jonah reveal how anger toward other people or toward God can carry consequences beyond the person who feels it.
Elliott also speaks personally about apology and reconciliation, including taking his wife's hand and admitting he was wrong. His appeal is to confront unresolved conflict, reject inherited hostility, and protect the home and the church from destructive resentment.
The message concludes by distinguishing that resentment from spiritual opposition to evil through prayer. This original service recording includes personal illustrations, prayer, and closing remarks from another minister. Full message MP3 download.
