When she gets there, she feels how cold Romy exposed toes are and begins to massage them for her (closeups and POV). Then she helps her up on crutches. Romy finds them awkward, and her friend helps her walk first on one crutch and then with no crutches at all. She tries managing steps crutchless and gets to street level where she keeps gimping with her friend on the road. Her friend notices the toenails of her exposed toes have gotten scratched up from hitting the pavement and bends down to rub them. Then they continue their gimp while Romy tells her about her work.
