Volleyball is a sport of repeated high-intensity actions executed in extremely short time frames—approach jumps, block take-offs, first-step accelerations, rapid decelerations, and explosive arm swings. These actions are highly sensitive to even subtle disturbances in neural readiness, rate of force development, and elastic energy utilization. A player may appear “strong” in traditional terms and yet underperform in critical match moments if neural saturation, velocity suppression, or force–velocity drift is left unaddressed.
