Novated Lease Transparency Calculator 2025–26
Most novated lease calculators are built by providers. This one isn't.
This tool was built to show you the full picture — the tax saving, yes, but also the interest rate behind your repayment, the management fees, the ECM contribution, and what your take-home pay actually looks like after everything is accounted for.
Access is instant. No download, no setup.
Your purchase gives you a private link to the hosted calculator. Open it in any browser on any device — desktop, phone, or tablet. Nothing to install, nothing to configure. You'll receive a branded PDF with your access link immediately after purchase.
What it does
Enter your salary, your vehicle cost, and the figures from your provider quote. The calculator walks you through exactly what happens to your pay cheque, step by step — and shows you a side-by-side comparison against a standard car loan.
No quote yet? No problem. Use Explore mode to pick a vehicle type and get instant estimates based on 2025–26 market research.
What's included
📊 Full salary flow — gross salary → sacrifice → taxable income → tax → take-home, with and without the lease
⚖️ Car loan vs novated lease comparison — including the GST difference on the amount financed, editable loan rate, and balloon toggle
⚡ EV FBT exemption — models the full tax benefit automatically for eligible electric vehicles
🔢 Explore mode — pick a vehicle category (hatch, SUV, EV, ute, and more) and get instant estimates without a quote
📋 Plain English summary — a plain-language explanation of what the numbers mean for your specific situation
🔒 100% private — runs entirely in your browser, nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere
Who it's for
Anyone who has received a novated lease quote and wants to understand what they're actually being charged. Anyone comparing options before committing to a provider. Anyone who wants to know if a novated lease is genuinely worth it for their salary and vehicle.
How accurate is it?
When you enter exact figures from a real provider quote, the calculator matches closely — within a few dollars per month of independently verified quotes. The small remaining gap is due to providers using proprietary rounding in their internal systems. All outputs are estimates — verify with your provider before making any decisions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a quote to use it?

What tax rates does it use?
2025–26 ATO income tax brackets, 47% FBT rate, and current ATO statutory residual percentages. Updated each financial year.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The calculator is fully responsive and works on any modern browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox — on any device.
Is this financial advice?
No. General information only. Always seek independent advice before committing to a novated lease.
