Do I keep ownership of my book?
Yes. You keep full copyright ownership of your book. Every title is published under Diane N. Tucker, Inc. as the publisher, but the copyright always remains in your name.
How Do I Get Paid?
After printing costs and distribution fees are are deducted from your Retail Pricing by Lulu, you receive 95% of your book's profits. Our staff will work with you on the best way to price your book after we have uploaded the manuscript and receive Lulu's Printing Cost and Global Distribution Costs.
How Author Gets Paid When Selling Via Lulu Direct Link Example:

Author receives payouts and reporting file on a monthly basis from last month's sales.
How Author Gets Paid When Selling Via Distribution Partner Platforms (Amazon / Barnes & Nobles) Example:

Lulu receives payouts from Global Distributors anywhere from 6-8 weeks after the book is sold on their Distribution Site. Which means Author's will not receive their payout until the following month after Lulu receives it from distributors.

Things to keep in mind when opting to sale your book through global distribution: Retailers like Amazon sometimes show a listing “live” but still processing the behind-the-scenes sale reporting. Also note Lulu and Diane N Tucker, Inc. warns that they cannot control things like Amazon’s “strike-through pricing” or other pricing/visibility quirks.
Can I market and sell my book on my own?
Yes. You are encouraged to promote your book through your website, social media, or any online store. You will receive a Lulu sales link and can also connect your Shopify, Wix, or WooCommerce store for direct sales.
Are the books available in bookstores?
Yes, all books on LuLu's Global Marketplace. Only authors in the Executive Publishing Package (Level 3) are submitted for global distribution on Amazon and Barnes & Noble if accepted by those platforms. Approval and timelines are controlled by the retailers.
Can I order printed copies of my book?
Yes. Authors can order copies at print cost plus shipping directly through Diane N. Tucker, Inc. in bulk. You may sell these copies at events, through your business, or on your own website.
What if I find an error after my book is published?
Each author receives a proof copy for review and approval before release. Once approved and published, any corrections or updates would require a revision fee depending on the package level. Revisions are allowed in Level 2 and 3.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. Because every book is print-on-demand, printing begins immediately after order placement. You may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase of your publishing package only. After 24 hours, no refunds are available.
Do you guarantee my book will be accepted by Amazon or Barnes & Noble?
No. Acceptance for global distribution is determined by each retailer’s review and quality standards. Diane N. Tucker, Inc. submits all eligible books, but cannot guarantee approval or timing.
How long does the publishing process take?
Level 1: 2–3 weeks
Level 2: 3–5 weeks
Level 3: 4–6 weeks
Timelines may vary based on editing, revisions, and retailer review times.
What happens after my book is published?
You will receive your Lulu sales link and, if applicable on Level 2 and 3, we will connect your Shopify, Wix, or WooCommerce for seamless book ordering.
For Level 3 Authors, your book will be submitted to Amazon and Barnes & Nobles for the approval to be sold one their platforms. If approved, we will contact Authors when their global distribution has been approved.
You will also receive monthly reports via email on month's when you receive your 95% of profits payout for books sold from the previous month.
