The Same Argument Again
Most couples have one or two arguments that keep coming back. It might start with the dishes, money, or who said what to whose mother, and somehow it ends in the same place every time: the same words, the same hurt, the same silence afterward.
That repeat is usually not a sign that something is wrong with either of you. It more often means two people are protecting something important and missing each other while they do it. This free worksheet helps you see the pattern, so it can start to change — naming the argument from what actually happened, finding what each of you is protecting underneath it, and agreeing on a pause you can both use, decided on a calm day and used on a hard one.
You can do this on your own, or together, taking turns. Free to share, whole and unchanged. Fillable on your computer, or print it and write by hand.
