MONEY MINDSET
This book, Money Mindset: A Journal to Financial Empowerment by Dr. Nikki Zeigler, is more of a guided journal and workbook than a traditional read-from-start-to-finish book. Its purpose is to help the reader develop a healthier relationship with money through affirmations, reflection, goal setting, gratitude, vision work, and practical financial tracking.
The journal begins by explaining that it is designed to guide readers toward financial prosperity and love through 30 affirmations, reflection pages, and mindset work. It encourages the reader to use affirmations daily, visualize success, write out goals, practice gratitude, and stay open to opportunities. The early pages also include instructions for creating a vision board around finances, career, health, family, relationships, and personal growth.
A major part of the book is its interactive journaling structure. It includes prompts about past successes, things you enjoy, financial fears, memorable experiences, childhood money beliefs, financial self-care, what you would do if you could not fail, and why financial freedom matters to you. It is built to help the reader uncover old beliefs and replace them with healthier ones.
It also has a strong practical money-management section. There are pages for financial goals, annual finance planning, income trackers, expense trackers, budget planners, weekly budgets, debt summaries, tax deductions, monthly bill tracking, account tracking, savings trackers, investment tracking, debt payoff tracking, subscriptions, and goal action plans. So it blends mindset work with actual money organization tools.
The last part of the journal focuses on a 30-day affirmation journey. Each day gives a money-centered affirmation such as being a magnet for abundance, releasing fear around money, becoming financially free, attracting wealth, and using money wisely. The repeated theme is confidence, abundance, gratitude, and intentional thinking around finances.
