Digital Crochet Pattern - Face Scrubbies Two Ways

Crochet a duo of face scrubbies using different textures stitches. In addition to use as face scrubbies, the larger size can also be used as washcloths or dishcloths if desired.

Tools and Materials:

• 4.50 mm [7] or 5.00 mm [H-8] crochet hook – samples shown used 4.50 mm hook
• tapestry needle and scissors
• DK, worsted, or aran cotton or other yarn suitable for facecloths (samples used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Stripey)

Sizes: Two sizes, large and small. Size can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of rounds worked. Large samples shown are approximately 12 cm in diameter, small samples approximately 9 cm in diameter. Testers’ large scrubbies varied in size between 11.5 and 12 cm in diameter. Testers used between 9 and 12 g of yarn for the large scrubbie, depending on yarn weight and size of scrubbies.

Gauge: 12 rounds in 10 cm 4 in, however gauge is not critical to this pattern.

Yardage: 19 - 22 yards (17 - 20 m)
