3rd and Long - 1970s NFL Season Bundle

Ten seasons. A perfect year in Miami, then Pittsburgh take over.

The 1970s belong to two teams. Miami go 14-0 in 1972 and top both the offensive and defensive ratings, which is the only time in seventy-six seasons anyone has done it while going unbeaten. Then Pittsburgh's Steel Curtain arrives, posts the best defensive rating in the league in 1976, and wins four rings in six years. Ten seasons, all playable.

This bundle includes 10 complete 3rd and Long ratings packs:

1970 - Baltimore win Super Bowl V. Minnesota's Purple People Eaters top the defense.

1971 - Dallas finally break through. Super Bowl VI.

1972 - Miami go 14-0 and top both ratings. Perfect. Super Bowl VII.

1973 - The Dolphins do it again. Super Bowl VIII.

1974 - Pittsburgh's first. Super Bowl IX.

1975 - Back-to-back for the Steelers. Super Bowl X.

1976 - Oakland go 13-1 and finally win one. Pittsburgh's defense rates a maximum 20. Super Bowl XI.

1977 - Dallas win their second. Denver's Orange Crush go 12-2. Super Bowl XII.

1978 - Pittsburgh go 14-2 for a third ring. Super Bowl XIII.

1979 - The Steelers' fourth in six years. Super Bowl XIV.

Every season includes:

All team ratings - Offense & Defense on a 0-20 scale, calibrated against real points-for and points-against data from that season Season cover page with the year's headline stories Ratings CSV, for anyone who wants them in a spreadsheet or an app

Included once, and they work for every season:

Modifier lookup - every offense-versus-defense combination worked out in advance, home on one page, away on the other. No arithmetic at the table. Scoring charts - regular time and overtime, with a written outcome for every band, from a historic shutout to four touchdowns and counting Game playsheet to record your results

One set of rules covers every season - no separate purchase needed.

These are ratings packs. There are no printed schedules: most people replaying a season want to get straight to rolling, run their own bracket, or set up the matchups that interest them. If you want the real fixtures, the free Schedule Printer (included) will lay one out for you.

What you need: Two d100 dice (or a d10 pair as percentile dice) and a pencil.

Ten seasons of football. One bundle. Roll the whole decade.
