The Household Laboratory

It's tempting to tell our children to "put away 

their math" when it's time to do chores or cook dinner. But a house can 

double as an interactive mathematical laboratory—filled with geometry, 

fractions, spatial reasoning, and economics. When you weave math into

that math has a real-world purpose, and household chores can go a little
