Meal Plan & Grocery Budget
Plan a week of meals and a shopping list without losing track of estimated grocery costs.
Use your own entries in a reusable offline planner or calculator, then keep the details reviewable with the accompanying printables. Monetary entries and outputs use UK sterling (£).
WHAT YOU GET
- One offline HTML tool: meal-budget.html.
- One three-page A4 PDF: a quick-start guide and two purpose-specific printable worksheets.
- Read-Me-First.txt with extraction, opening and backup instructions.
The three files are supplied together in one ZIP download.
SPECIFIC FEATURES
- Seven-day meal plan
- Cupboard-first shopping list
- Needed-items budget total
Plan seven days of meals, then build a shopping list with quantities and estimated prices. Mark what you already have so the total covers only the groceries still needed, and compare it with your weekly budget.
EXAMPLE
3 units at £2 plus 2 at £1.50 gives £9 needed groceries.
The supplied example is illustrative. Replace sample figures, dates and records with your own; the examples are not recommended prices or promised outcomes.
USING AND SAVING YOUR FILE
Download and extract the ZIP, then open the HTML file locally in your desktop browser. There is no subscription needed to use the supplied files. Browser-local saving is optional and off by default. It can vary with browser and security settings, so use the manual JSON export/import controls for dated input backups. A results CSV export is separate from the editable JSON backup. Data entered in this tool is not uploaded to a bank or cloud service.
REQUIREMENTS
Use a desktop browser that can open local HTML files and download CSV/JSON files. Checked in desktop Chrome; other browsers and mobile layouts have not been verified. The PDF can be viewed or printed with a PDF reader. No spreadsheet licence is needed for this HTML product.
PRACTICAL LIMITS
Prices are your estimates; there is no live supermarket feed. Check ingredients and suitability yourself. The planner organises meals and spending; it does not provide nutritional or dietary advice.
The shopping total includes only items you still need. Compare it with the budget before shopping and update actual prices afterwards. Quantity must use the same unit as the price: packs with price per pack, or kilograms with price per kilogram.
There are no automatic notifications, messages, applications, transactions or live integrations. You enter and maintain the records and perform any real-world action yourself.
USE LICENCE
One purchaser may use and adapt the files for their own household or their own business's internal use, including internal team working copies. Do not resell, redistribute or publish the files or templates. Nothing in this licence removes your statutory rights.
