FINISHED SIZE

42" W x 18" D x 72" H. Seat at 18 inches, coat hooks on the centre line of the top back slat at 59 1/4 inches, hat shelf at 64 inches. Hooks that high keep a long coat clear of the seat.

SKILL LEVEL

Beginner. Every cut is square - no angles, no mortise and tenon. Mitre saw or circular saw, drill, sander.

ANCHOR TO THE WALL: Fasten the top of this unit to a wall stud with an anti-tip strap or steel L-bracket (listed in the shopping list). Tall furniture that is not anchored can tip over if someone climbs or pulls on it.

BUILD TIME AND COST
