Millimodel GWS2 Great Western Railway B set passenger train

Millimodels GWS2 set Great Western 54xx class 0-6-0PT loco and two B set coaches 1/200 scale

This is a 2007 designed card kit to cut out and assemble which builds to a complete passenger train measuring approximately 10 inches long with included track base. Comprising 54xx class Collet 0-6-0PT locomotive, a pair of B set coaches and track base. This model represents a typical branchline train circa 1935.

 No examples of the 54xx class have been preserved but some of the 64xx class, with 4 foot 7 ½ inch wheels as opposed to 5 foot 2 inch wheels, have been. 

The model follows the style of the 1940s and 1950s Micromodels railway kits, which comprised six postcards contained in a paper wrapper.

The paper wrapper (page 1) has the instructions which you only need to print out if you wish to present the kit in the unbuilt form.

These model kits are intended for experienced modellers and are detailed and small in size. Good eyesight or magnification is required and steady hands!

Millimodels are intended to fill some of the gaps in the Micromodels railways range, with railways that were not represented by them and also some of the smaller subjects. In addition, it has been decided to make some sets, at least, as whole trains rather than sets of locomotives.
