Why?

Most mothers are living in survival mode, but they don’t call it that.

About me

Hi, I'm Karolina Moore, a nervous system-focused practitioner and mum of four, and the creator of Healing Mama.

My work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. As a mother supporting children with additional, medical, and emotional needs, I understand firsthand what it means to live in constant alert. For years, my nervous system stayed in survival mode, carrying responsibility that never fully switched off. Like many mothers, I believed I just needed to cope better.

Everything changed when I began to understand how the nervous system actually works, and more importantly, how to support it safely. As my own nervous system began to regulate, I became calmer, more present, and more able to respond instead of react. My home felt different, not because life became perfect, but because my body no longer lived in constant protection.

Since then, I have dedicated my work to helping other mothers regulate their nervous systems using simple, realistic, body-based approaches that work within the reality of motherhood.
