The CV Rewrite: your FIFO or construction CV, rebuilt by the person who screens them
Most CV writers make your CV look professional. I rebuild it so it gets past the thirty-second screen, because for twenty years that screen was my job.
Send me your current CV, the job you're chasing and your tickets. I'll rebuild it from the top, in the order a recruiter reads it:
- The Ready for site block: role, roster, point of hire, start date, licences and tickets, where the screener looks first
- A profile that says what you are and what you want, in plain words
- Work history with the equipment, systems and numbers that screeners look for
- Your tickets and licences laid out with expiry dates
- The words from the ad, used where they're true for you
You get: your new CV as an editable Word file and a PDF, plus a short note on what I changed and why. Back within five business days of having everything. One round of changes included.
Who's doing it? The Hiring Desk: twenty years in HR across Australian mining and construction, most of it on the hiring side, and a FIFO household of my own. Every rewrite is done by me.
Not sure you need a rewrite? The Top Third Check (A$79) and the Hiring-Side CV Review (A$179) tell you what to fix so you can do it yourself.
What this isn't. It's not a job referral and can't guarantee an interview. I won't make anything up: everything in your CV has to be true.
After payment you'll get a one-page PDF telling you exactly what to send.
