Christy and the Big Red Monster

Christy and the Big Red Monster is a heartwarming children’s story inspired by Crystal Amon’s childhood memories of attending races with her grandfather. The story follows young Christy, who is terrified of her grandfather’s bright red race car, which she imagines is a monster. With Papa’s patient guidance, gentle encouragement, safety practices, prayer, and small steps, Christy gradually learns to face her fears. As she becomes more confident, she discovers that the “monster” is not something to fear but something she can understand. By the end of the story, Christy transforms fear into courage and even gives the race car a new name: The Big Red Helper.
