AS GOD IS MY WITNESS"

Marjorie has grey hair and brown eyes. Jessica is a much younger blonde-haired woman.

Marjorie is losing her memory. She is claiming to have lent Jessica a Diamond necklace two months ago, which Jessica has failed to give back to her. She is threatening to haunt Jessica as a 'demented ghost' if Jessica does not return the necklace or offer her money to prevent her (Marjorie) from being evicted by a belligerent Landlord. Jessica is completely innocent. She has not been lent any necklace at all by Marjorie, but feels sorry for the woman, and angrily wanting to divest herself of the accusation also. So she gives her 'back' a fake diamond necklace.

The Landlord storms in - a very frightening violent man but with a touch of sympathy perhaps. Marjorie gives him the necklace, and he looks pleased and goes away smiling.

Is Jessica going to have to face any further repercussions for her kindness?

If everyone is telling lies, if even Paperwork is faulty - where does that leave us all? Not in a great situation.
