Reversible and no sewing! This open cardigan will be a staple in your wardrobe. The selvedges along the side and armhole seams are encased in a knitted facing that provides a polished look on both sides of the sweater. The back is worked from the bottom up. Stitches are picked up and knit along the side selvedges and additional stitches are cast on for the armholes. The fronts are worked side-to-side from the seam to the front opening. The selvedge edges on the cardigan fronts undulate while they follow the curving lines in the stitch pattern. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round to the cuff.

This knitting pattern includes written directions, both charts and written stitch pattern instructions, front and back images, and a detailed schematic with measurements.
