When wealthy heiress Patricia Owens travels to rural Quebec to inspect a modest home inherited from her late father, a hidden basement trapdoor reveals a sinister secret: a stash of 90s cartoon VHS tapes, like The Raccoons and Arthur, defaced with the names of children. What starts as a nostalgic and mysterious curiosity plunges into pure analog horror as the tapes document the gruesome, recorded murders of adopted children by a deranged former owner who demanded absolute, god-like control over their lives. Confronted with a psychopath's brutal legacy, Patricia is forced to reckon with the dark parallels of her own oppressive parenting, and she is compelled to uncover the rest of the tapes' grim history before burning the nightmare to the ground.
