WHAT THE POSTINGS LEAVE OUT: WHICH REMOTE JOBS FIT TOGETHER, WHAT GETS AN ACCOUNT CLOSED, THE SIX SCAM SHAPES, AND THE TAX YOU NOW OWE.

A 15 page PDF in large type, written for your first month of working from home in the United States. The company facts were read on October 28, 2026, and the tax figures are for tax year 2026.

THE PROBLEM

A job posting tells you the pay and the hours. It does not tell you that most of this work is contractor work with no tax taken out, that some companies skip whole states, that the AI training companies start with a test instead of a resume, that onboarding can be unpaid, or that using AI inside the work ends the account. People learn each of these the expensive way.

WHAT YOU GET

Nine parts, a start page, a one page checklist and a glossary. Read it on a computer or tablet, or print it. The underlined words inside are links you can tap.

WHAT IS INSIDE

Start here: nine things a job posting does not tell you.

Pick two or three: the three groups of remote work, how to mix them, and the four lines to read before you apply anywhere.

Apply the way each site wants: tests, interviews, background checks, and the account rules that end people.

Hold more than one: the six stacking rules that keep two jobs legal.

The AI rule: where AI is fine, where it gets the account closed, and which companies say so in writing.

Scams: the six shapes, from the FTC's own pages, so you know them on sight.

Taxes and paperwork: contractor pay, the second W-2, the forms, and two questions to ask before the first paycheck.

Your setup: what the phone jobs test for, and what the computer jobs do not need.

Your resume: a general resume first, then one shaped to each posting.

The first week: six steps in order.

The one page checklist, to print and tick off, and a glossary of the words the postings and the tax forms use.

HOW THIS WAS MADE

In October 2026 I went looking for work from home that pays, for myself. This guide is the list I built and the rules I set before applying anywhere, with every company fact read from the company's own pages, its postings or the places people talk about it, and marked which. Where I have not done a thing myself, the guide says so.

WHAT IT IS NOT

It is not tax, legal, employment or financial advice, and I am not a tax professional or a lawyer. It tells you what to ask one. It skips the list of companies on purpose: the free Start Here list and the Master List of Remote Jobs carry those. It does not promise you will be hired or earn any amount.

HOW YOU GET IT

The guide lives on your own private page on the Wright Ideas members site. Your Payhip download is a one page access card with the directions. Sign in at members.wrightideasshop.com with your license key, plus the email you checked out with, and the current version is always there. Your key is on the page Payhip opens right after you buy, beside License Key, and in the email Payhip sends you; the Product Key under it is not the one to type. When I improve the guide, the new version replaces the old one on your page, free. Need help? Write to support@wrightideasshop.com.
