The Pocket Pony is a quick, easy, and low-sew amigurumi horse designed with plush yarn. It’s the perfect mini doll to make for the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Horse, or as a gift for horse-lovers! This pony can be crocheted using thinner yarns and a smaller hook if desired, and it’s perfect for making into a keychain, desk buddy, or hanging ornament. This crochet project takes approximately 50-60 minutes for an experienced crocheter. It works well as a last-minute gift, party favor, stocking stuffer, class Valentine’s Day gift, or craft fair project.

The PDF pattern includes 2 versions of the Pocket Pony, a video tutorial link, and lots of photo references to guide you through the doll-making process.

Super bulky weight 6 chenille velvet yarn in desired colors

5mm crochet hook

16mm plastic safety eyes (x2)

Fiberfill stuffing

Yarn needle

Scissors

YO = yarn over

ch = chain

sl st = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)
