This is a digital download knitting pattern and not a finished item.

Basic Information:

The Recipe for Hope Throw Blanket is an assembled square blanket in a 3 x 4 placement, with a mitered corner border edge. The pattern offers six (6) stitch motifs. Each square is 9 inches x 9 inches [22.5 cm x 22.5 cm], which can have an optional charted duplicate stitch design (token) stitched onto the middle of the square. When the squares are finished and blocked, they are stitched together with mattress stitch, finishing the throw off with an added mitered corner border.

The Recipe for Hope Throw Blanket offers a tangible way to support those affected by cancer. The project was designed using specific colorways form the Olive & Two ewe Studios 2025 Cancer Awareness Series that was inspired by the ribbon colors for various forms of cancer. This blanket will be a unique creation to spark conversations around cancer awareness.

The suggested fingering weight yarn is held double or the suggested DK weight yarn is held single.

The pattern is written with charts for the cable squares and the token motifs. The pattern has been tech edited.
