MATERIALS:

14” finished block

1 Fat Quarter of background fabric

1 Fat Eighth pink print for the sails

1 2½” x 10½” piece of blue for the hull

1 2” square of warm grey print for the bird’s wing,

plus 1 1½” square for the crow’s nest

1 1½” x 2½” piece, 1 2” square and 1 1” square of teal

solid for the bird’s body

1 1” square piece of gold print for the bird’s beak

2 1½” pieces of ½” wide ribbon for the flags
