A Tent in the Woods (Beanie)
A Tent in the Woods is a soft and cozy beanie, knitted in an easier, modified half fisherman’s rib that gives a brioche-like texture without the complexity.
The pattern features a straight-line ‘fern’ cable panel down the center, complementing the ridges of the half fisherman’s rib.
Written in one size (S/M to M/L), the stretchy ribbing accommodates a range of adult head sizes.
The design is named after the forest shelter ‘tent’ near my home, where I spend rainy days playing badminton with my kids — and sometimes even knitting.
