PFR Schedule Printer
A free tool for tabletop football fans who just want the sheet.
Drop, paste or load a schedule and the Schedule Printer turns it into a clean,
print-ready score sheet in the 3rd and Long house style. Courier, black on white,
with empty score boxes for every game.
Real seasons or invented ones. Paste in a Pro Football Reference schedule for any
year, or build your own fixture list in the included Excel template and print a
league that never existed.
New in this version:
Single team sheets. Pick a club from the drop-down and its whole season prints on
one page, in order, with the venue marked home, away or neutral and boxes for points
for and against. Bye weeks get worked out from the fixture list and printed as byes,
so the numbering never lies. There is a running record column, a blank playoff block,
and a summary at the bottom for your final record and where you finished.
You can now paste straight out of Excel, Google Sheets, or a table copied off a web
page. No saving as CSV first.
There is a Fixture Template in the download too: an Excel workbook with the columns
set up, a worked example and a Read Me sheet. Three columns are all you need. Week
number, home team, away team.
Knockout rounds take your own names. Semi-Finals, Grand Final, Promotion Play-Off,
whatever your competition calls them. They print with blank team slots so you can
fill in whoever qualifies.
What it does:
- Reads the standard PFR Winner/@/Loser format and works out home and away for you
- Handles neutral-site games such as the Super Bowl
- Numbered weeks print the fixtures with empty score boxes
- Playoff rounds print with blank ruled lines for your own bracket
- Editable title and subtitle, so you can stamp it with any league or season name
- Full Schedule or Single Team, switched on a tab
- 1, 2 or 3 weeks per page
- Day, Date and Time columns you can turn off
- Print to PDF or straight to paper
Works in any browser. Nothing to install, no account, and nothing leaves your machine.
In the download:
- schedule-printer.html - the tool
- Fixture Template.xlsx - for building your own league
- How to Print a Schedule.pdf - one page, everything above
Bring your own ratings, your own dice, or no dice at all. This is the sheet. The rest
is up to you.
Want the engine as well? 3rd and Long is the tabletop gridiron system these sheets
were built for. Rated teams for every NFL season from 1950 on, a d100 scoring chart,
and games that take a few minutes each. Season packs and decade bundles are in the store.
