When you buy this pattern, you have my permission to make this bag to sell- no mass production allowed of course but a few to sell at craft fairs or online, that sort of thing is fine. All I ask is that you credit me as the designer. I wish you all the success in the world with sales!

All measurements are in INCHES.

This little bag is perfect for toting your craft WIP wherever you go. I have used it on the train for my knitting! The handle is designed to fit over your arm leaving your hands free to craft in a queue.

The bag features a zipper box pocket in the front and two handy lined slip pockets inside. There is a drop in lining and bound edges so there is no complicated turning out to be done. Best of all, the pattern includes the step-by-step instructions to make the little macrame feather too! (that sold me actually, I nearly bought it myself!).

If you are new to sewing, this is the perfect bag to get you going and don't worry about the zipper pocket. It is really easy and I have added a supplementary masterclass on my blog to show you this handy skill in more detail. You can find it for free on my blog and the links are in your pattern.

Pattern Rating: confident beginner to intermediate: not too many nasty surprises here but some skills assumed. There is a companion blog about the zipper and best of all, the pattern is full of TIPS which will give you a much deeper understanding of the bag making process.

Dimensions: 11" high x 10 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" deep

What do you need to make it:
Fabric:
½ yd. canvas in a pretty print.
½ yd. lining fabric.
48” bias binding to coordinate with your main fabric. I have made mine from the main fabric because it is quite busy and I did not really want to add another pattern. A solid navy would have been another way to go.

Interfacing:
24” Style-vil foam interfacing (Vlieseline)or By Annie's Soft & Stable
Fat Eighth S320 fusible interfacing (Vlieseline), alternatively, Pellon Craft Fuse

Everything Else:
5” #5 metal zipper to coordinate with your main fabric.
Cotton yarn to coordinate with your main fabric
Coordinating threads for all fabrics and trims

Your pattern includes 11 pages of detailed instructions including hints and tips and two pages of printable templates with a sizing guide.

***Disclaimer: This is one of my few patterns with a template. I just wanted to let you know up front that it is not what you might be expecting- in the true spirit of old-school designing, the template is precisely HAND drawn. This does not affect its quality or function. It fits together 100% perfectly and a lot of people have bought and made this pattern successfully and beautifully. There is a sizing square on the template to help you to get it just right when you print out. I love the organic and creative feeling that this gives me. The pattern really is hand made.
