From 2D Pattern to 3D Animation
This project explores the intersection of bold streetwear aesthetics and precise garment engineering. At PT. Digital Harmoni Cipta, we approach 3D fashion not just as a visual medium, but as a technical challenge. This Oversized Color-Block Hoodie is the result of rigorous 2D pattern drafting combined with high-fidelity digital simulation.
The Engineering Process
Unlike standard 3D garments, this piece was built from the ground up using mathematical pattern logic.
- 2D Pattern Drafting: Every panel was calculated to ensure the "dropped shoulder" silhouette maintains its structural integrity while providing a realistic, voluminous drape.
- Color-Block Integration: The geometric red and blue panels are seamlessly stitched to demonstrate clean digital seam construction.
- Simulated Volume: Using CLO3D, we calibrated the fabric's physical properties—thickness, internal pressure, and weight—to achieve the "heavy-weight" streetwear look.
Digital Innovation
The accompanying video showcases the transition from flat 2D lines to a fully simulated 3D garment. This workflow highlights how Digital Harmoni Cipta helps brands eliminate physical sample waste by achieving a "First-Time-Right" digital prototype.
