Do You Know Your Dog? The Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Calling all Staffy lovers! 🐾

Have you been asked if your Staffy is a banned breed? Is a Staffy the same as an XL Bully? And why does yours pull like a little tractor?

At Houlton Hounds we're a team of 8 dog walkers near Rugby, looking after more than 200 clients, and the whole team has a huge soft spot for Staffies. That big grin, the wiggly bottom when they say hello, and those full-body cuddles! This fun guide shares everything we've learned on a lot of happy, waggy miles.

Inside you'll find:

• The Staffy's story, a proud Midlands breed from the Black Country
• Clear answers on banned breeds and how Staffies differ from XL Bullies
• Why they're known as "nanny dogs" and real big softies
• Walks, training and loose-lead tips from a dog walker's view
• Grooming, health checks and what to ask a breeder

We're dog walkers, not vets, so we've checked everything against the Royal Kennel Club, PDSA, Dogs Trust and the RSPCA, plus our own tales from the Houlton Hounds pack.

For every guide sold, we donate 50p to UK dog rescue charities ❤️

We hope it makes you smile, and helps you get to know your dog even better!
