Red, cobalt blue and cardboard: a palette of contrasts in which the red of the bodysuit and gloves leaps out against the blue brushstrokes and the grey of the concrete. A soft, enveloping light, free of harsh shadows, lets the volume of the body read clearly, from every muscle to every fold and joint. Against that painted backdrop, the character transforms: she dances, leaps, curls up, crawls like an animal on the prowl and lifts her gaze from the floor. Strange poses, unexpected angles and foreshortening create a feeling that is part feline, part ritual, part instinct, as if the body were inventing its own language.
