Your mentor Aisha is a cybersecurity professional who has a passion for technology, empowering people, and promoting Verizon's Credo values. Aisha started her career in the Air Force, working for space command as a communications specialist. After a four-year enlistment, she started her civilian career as an auditor for DMS-100 PBX switches that supported MCI's DISN project. While a full-time employee, Aisha continued her education in information system management(ISFM) at the University of Maryland College Park. She has had multiple roles supporting the U.S Senate Sergeant-at-Arms VoIP project, DIA-HQ firewall implementation project, Networx project, the DTSP project, DREN, FAA and CMS WAN project. She has several industry certifications to include CISSP, CEHv7, PMP and ITILv4. She is an avid Miami Dolphins fan, and loves gourmet cooking and traveling.
