Gray Line is a lightweight cardigan that can go wherever your summer takes you. It is a stitch pattern with a strong readable geometric pattern, and a dash of femininity brought by lace.

Gray Line cardigan is knit flat from the bottom up. The body is worked in one piece to the underarm, and is then divided into the front and back after the underarm bind-off. The shoulders are seamed before the button band is picked up.

There are two options for the sleeves. The first option is short sleeves. The sleeves are knit flat from the cuff up to the sleeve cap. The sleeves are seamed, then sewn in place into the armhole. The other option is for a vest (sleeveless). The armhole ribbing is picked up from the armhole edge, then worked in the round.
