The Twist is a baby / toddler / young child’s cardigan that’s knitted top down. At the underarms stitches are placed on holders for the sleeves, then the body is continued in one piece. The sleeves are then worked top down too and are seamless.
The cardigan can be knitted with a collar, which gives it more of a jacket feel, or without. Knitters need to be familiar with cabling, the increases are within the twists. The pattern has written instructions.
There are 8 sizes: 3 months to 8/9 years.
