The Substitute Teacher

By Kimani Upshur, M.Ed.

Mrs. Gomez is out for the day - and a substitute teacher means the wiggles, a paper airplane incident, and a whole classroom put to the kindness test. Across ten funny, true-to-life chapters, one class learns that kindness is not just for the teacher you know: helping hands, forgiving Freddie, and a thank-you note turn a wobbly afternoon into the best review ever. A warm everyday story for ages 6-12, woven with the truth of Ephesians 4:32 - be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another.
