Audio - The Glass and the Jumper, Tale 1 in Volume 2 Jonathan's Tales
Well, what can I say? I have published thirty written stories over 3 volumes of Jonathan's Tales. The fourth will be released soon with another ten tales. But the written stories have a background not in my written creative work but my story telling that I told my son when he was 6 to 9 years old at his bedtime. I recorded in those three years over 100 stories on my android. My story telling actually goes back before then. On this count there is both history and sadness I will share below. The story today you will listen to is the raw, unedited audio version of the first tale in Volume 2 of Jonathan's Tales called The Glass and the Jumper which held my son spellbound when I originally told him. I have added a teaser introduction to the published story.
I hope you enjoy this audio version and please forgive the occasional cough in the story telling, as I was suffering a little with a cold, but I declare in my opinion that provides more authenticity...by the by, I think you would be fascinated to read the actual published story, as although I remain faithful to the original story as told, in all the written versions there are a number of creative 'enhancements' to enrich the story line more. This clearly illustrates that Jonathan's Tales was a creative process on two fronts, the original audio deliverance to my son and the subsequent written version.
