That is me in the picture. 268 Lbs, The most weight I ever gained. I was on blood pressure medication and it was getting to the point where even that was not working. My doctor worried as she didn't have another option for me if it kept going up. I was not sleeping at night. I would wake up not being able to breath as the weight of the excess fat on my body would push down on my wind pipe and cut off my air. I couldn't sleep on my back at all for this reason. I realized I had to change what I was eating. I knew what I had to do. Lose weight or live a shorter life! So I started on my Odyssey to lose weight. I started with finding out why I was gaining it in the first place. I can tell you, I was eating too much food. plain and simple. So my plan of attack was to cut back how much i was eating. Easier said than done. I Do not believe in good or bad foods. I do, however, try to eat less processed foods. I had to trick my mind and eat foods with less calories, but that made me think I was eating the same foods. I had to make sure I felt full and satisfied. I came up with lower calorie meals and I have put them into this cookbook to share with you on how I lost all my weight with out any crazy fad diets. I hope you enjoy the recipes!
