The Kitchen Laboratory
A Note from Grammie: When we think of science projects, we often
picture white coats, expensive microscopes, and sterile laboratories. But
science is happening all around us, every day—and one of the most
interesting laboratories is right inside the kitchen.
We are going to use basic pantry ingredients to explore real scientific
principles. From changing states of matter to observing DNA, these
hands-on projects show that science isn't only a textbook subject; it's part
of the everyday physical world.
