New Musical Devices

We've been taught that people appreciate musical sounds because of familiarity, tradition, and the resulting emotional attachment, and while this is true, there is also a truth far deeper and more beautiful to music. The conclusions of musical harmony are as inevitable as the principles of mathematics- nothing is created, only discovered. Through its countless iterations across the ages, the essence of music remains, although the applications change-nothing is destroyed, only transformed.  

The purpose of this work is to present interesting and largely untapped ways to "make good sounds" in a simple and clear way. Consider the exciting tension and release possibilities of negative harmony, the alluring colors of unusual pentatonic scales, and the surprising consonance possible in 12 tone music which can really take harmony beyond its current level.  

Humanity is at the edges of the earth and the beginning of the stars. Our music should be reflecting this and inspiring us to reach greater heights.
