Years' Worth of Thoughts

Andrew McDowell has gathered short pieces of writing, spanning decades, into one collection—five works of fiction, five of nonfiction, and more than 100 poems. Some were written for classes he took in high school and college. A few were believed to have been lost but then were rediscovered.

Whenever an idea, a reaction, an observation, or a thought sparked Andrew's imagination, it led to one or more of the pieces in this collection. They encompass a wide range of genres, from the speculative to the scary to the religious to the festive and more. Some have previously been published in anthologies and literary journals and magazines, as well as online.

As a bonus, this collection also includes nine pencil drawings from one last spur of creativity Andrew had as an artist before committing himself to the art of words.
