Bond Breakers

Bond Breakers is a multiplayer science game for Chemistry. Race to the finish by classifying bonds, explaining forces between particles, sorting exothermic and endothermic changes, calculating bond energies and heat, and explaining designed materials.

Skills: Ionic, covalent and metallic bonding and their properties, intermolecular forces (London dispersion, dipole, hydrogen bonding), boiling and melting points, solubility (like dissolves like), surface tension, evaporation, density of ice, exothermic vs. endothermic processes, bond breaking absorbs and bond forming releases energy, sign of ΔH, estimating ΔH from average bond energies, q = mcΔT calorimetry, conductivity, malleability, brittleness, polymers, cross-linking, allotropes of carbon, hydrophobic and nonstick coatings.

New problems every game, with Easy, Medium and Hard levels. Every miss shows a short explanation.
