Woodland Mills HM130MAX Floating Log Stop Pocket Plans

Have you ever had a wonky log on the mill and struggled to get it secured without a knot or bulge extending past the log stops? This floating log clamp fixes that right up. You can clamp this anywhere on the bunk to then secure the log against. You can even place it opposite the original log stop pockets to allow you to mill logs that span across the bunks but not across both log stops. I have found these to be super handy around the mill and they are quick to install/remove as needed. No more adding blocks between the log stop and the log only to have it come loose as you are milling!

These plans include two versions, one as shown in the pics or one that doesn't require you to be able to bend 3/16" flat bar accurately.
