When The World Gets Loud

Tayo often feels overwhelmed by a world that seems too loud, too fast, and too difficult to make sense of. While others appear to move through life with ease, he struggles to process the noise around him and sometimes wonders if anyone truly understands.

With the support of his Dad, a compassionate teacher at school, and people who choose patience over judgement, Tayo slowly discovers something life-changing: his differences are not flaws to be fixed, but strengths to be understood.

Inspired by my own journey as the father of a son with special needs, this heartfelt story was written to help children feel seen, valued, and understood. It is also a tribute to the parents, carers, teachers, and support workers who walk alongside them every day.

More than a story, it is a reminder that every child DESERVES to belong, to be heard, and to know that their worth is never determined by how closely they resemble everyone else.
