The Fate of Three Time Travelers

Jim and Donna Abog were blessed with triplets, whom they named John, Don, and Ron. Donna was a Christian, and she attempted to lead her children to the feet of their Savior, but Jim was a very clever atheist. He succeeded in persuading his children to adopt his dismal creed.

When the children grew up, they became clever scientists and engineers. They used their knowledge to build three time machines. At a time agreed upon, they decoded to travel, one in each machine.

John visited the past. He happened to stop his machine at the time when Noah entered the ark and the rains began. Donna had told the children about the universal flood, and John now realized that his mother had been telling him the truth. In the short time left to him, he became a Christian. Then he died and enjoyed eternal life in heaven.

Don visited the first century A.D. He witnessed the ministry of Jesus and also His death and resurrection. He then traveled foreword to the time when Christians were being persecuted. He resisted the Holy Spirit as long as he could, but he eventually became a Christian martyr.

Ron visited the future. He happened to stop his machine when the plagues of Revelation were occourring. Since Donna had told him about these plagues, he became a believer and died a little later in the plagues.

Jim and Donna grieved over the loss of their children. Donna prayed, and Jim eventually began to pray with her.
