Name Practice Do a Dot Mats - Editable

These Editable Dotted Names to Trace Printable Mats will be a hit! Name practice do a dot mats are so versatile for teachers, homeschoolers and parents! Each mat contains children's names in do a dot clipart. Help kids develop fine motor skills by having the kids use bingo markers to build each letter of their name.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:

The dots on these mats aren’t true to size. I used my own bingo daubers and they worked fine with my set with my students (along with many others). I’ve recently included a set of posters with LARGER LETTERS on two mats. Please DO NOT EXPECT LONGER NAMES to make larger dots on the smaller mats, it just doesnt work even if you make your own do a dot name mats with dot markers - you will need TWO mats for this. In short, this works with bingo dot markers that aren’t large. They’re not magic mats that fit all bingo sized daubers. So please do not purchase if this is your expectation. ;)

- WINZIP (or an equivalent program to unzip files)

IMPORTANT:

Please not that I've included TWO sets of mats in this packet, one for names (3-5 characters long) and names (6-9 characters long). I had to create them this way otherwise the names will be too small to be able to paint with dot markers (bingo daubers). I hope this helps!

Also note that I've tested these with the dot markers I own and the mats with 6 name letters fit perfectly, however the longer name ones don't (as they should) as I said above, to remedy this situation, you could print the long names on TWO mats with the larger sized font. I am unsure whether the dot paint markers you own will fit one hundred percent into those dot paint markers. So if you're looking for a product that has true to size dot paint font - this isn't it.

PLEASE READ -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND:

I highly recommend that you use the mats with the letters (3-5) to create these mats for longer names by linking two mats together due to the font. I have included up to 9 characters (second set of mats) but the names will be smaller on those mats due to the font (this is out of my hands) - I will update in the future if I find a better font to do this. So please do not purchase if you do not want to do this.

WHEN YOU NEED MORE MATS:

If you need more mats, do the following: SAVE AS on your desktop and then open the original file and type in your next set of names. Easy!
