Pumpkin Pal pattern

This is a pattern for a little pumpkin head person. It is worked in the round as much as possible. The pieces are worked separately and then joined. The sample shows domed buttons for eyes and an embroidered nose.

The pattern is written, but does contain some charts, if you find them helpful.

yarn:
Supersoft 100% Uld by Holst Garn; Light Fingering; 50% Merino, 50% Shetland; 314yds (287m) / 50g
approximate yarn amounts:
About 8 - 10g each of 5 colours
colour A - Ember
colour B - Dark Olive
colour C - Goldcrest
colour D - Nougat
colour E - Jasper
small bits for extra leaves in other colours (optional)
needles:
2.25mm (us no 1) DPNs 6in/15cm; set of 5
gauge:
7 sts x 11 rows = 1in/2.5cm measured over stitch pattern; gauge is not crucial but if the porportion from stitches to rows/rounds is different, it can change the look of your project
approximate finished size:
7in / 18cm tall (If standing)
additional tools:
needle to weave in ends, st marker, wool stuffing, embroidery floss for face, 4mm domed buttons for eyes, bits of fabric/felt/buttons for any additional decoration
