Aphrilis Shawl is inspired by the awakening of the nature after a long, grey season. 🌸
It is also a statement of awakening of hope and joy, and new beginnings after darker times.
It is a praise of spring, which happens to be the best season. It is not too hot, and it is not too cold. You can get a little bit of rain and a bit of sun on the same day and be able to appreciate the rainbows. ☀️🌦️🌈
Aphrilis Shawl is a top-down triangle shaped shawl. It features stockinette stitch with happy stripes, lateral braids and spring flowers in a row, ending in a frilly rib border.
This knitting pattern is written in both US and metric terminology, and is available in English and Finnish. There are links attached to the technique tutorials of lateral braids and flowers in a row.
