I come from a sailing and sea loving family and I’ve been fascinated about knots as long as I can remember.
This sock has two Reef Knots on the cuff and twined rope on the front of the foot and over the toes.
The cuff is knitted flat, the sts for the foor is picked up from the edge of the cuff. The horizontal cable is attached as it is knitted, so no seaming needed there. Stitches for the toes are picked up from the edge of the horizontal cable.
This is a easy and quick knit and it is perfect for using up leftover yarns. With the short cuff it is perfect for modern times fashinable bare ankles!
