BEAVER, overlay mosaic crochet blanket, written pattern row by row, Big Chart with Xs, PDF files

This is a digital pattern (available in PDF format only) that can be used to crochet a blanket using Overlay Mosaic Crochet

Colours Used: 2 (But if you are skilled in the technique, feel free to use as many colours as you want)

Graph Size: 299 columns (stitches) x 281 rows

The finished size of this design depends not only on the graph size but also on the stitch of choice, hook size, yarn thickness, and other factors.

For this pattern, a 4 mm hook (US = G/6, UK =8) and the measurements with the recommended yarn (Bonus DK Hayfield) were 217´5 cm (85,63”) in width and 184´8 cm (72,75”) in height without border, measurements that can work for a Double bed blanket.

If you add 5 rounds for the envelope border, the blanket could measure approximately 224.8 cm (88.50”) wide and 191.4 cm (75.35”) high.

The amount of yarn used for this pattern by my tester without the border was: 15 Skeins, 4094 meters/4477,25 yards (colour Platinum, for example 1 or colour Cream, for example 2) and 15 Skeins, 4150 meters/4538,50 yards (colour Sapphire Blue, for example 1 or colour Bronze, for example 2)

I have calculated the amount of yarn you would need to make the 5-round envelope border: 4 Skeins extra of either colour, or 2 skeins of each colour if you want to make the envelope border with both colours.
