The Beautiful Daze shawl is inspired by my favourite music festival. It uses a single skein of fingering weight yarn. I used a 75% merino/25% nylon blend yarn (100g/425m).
The main body of the shawl is knit in simple garter stitch, with a cable panel along the longest edge of the shawl, representing the meandering paths around the festival site.
Gauge is not essential for this project, as you just keep knitting until your yarn is almost gone.
The pattern contains both chart and written instructions.
