Special stitches

Increase. (INC) work two stitches in to the same stitch.

Decrease. (DEC) insert hook in to st, pull up a loop, insert hook in to next st, pull up a loop, yo, pull loop through all 3 loops.

Short rows are used for the hair this involves leaving some stitches unworked then working then a few rows later.
